As the crisp autumn air ushers in the harvest season, Big Hart Farm in Hartwell, Georgia, is gearing up for a fantastic Harvest Festival on September 28th. From 10 AM to 6 PM, this charming farm will transform into a fall wonderland, offering a delightful array of activities, entertainment, and seasonal fun. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, mark your calendar for this memorable event!
A Taste of Fall: Pumpkin Patch Extravaganza
One of the highlights of our Harvest Festival is the expansive Pumpkin Patch. Join us for an exclusive pumpkin patch tour where you can explore our pumpkin fields and select your favorites. From small sugar pumpkins to large carving pumpkins, there’s something for every fall decoration need. The patch will be open all day, and you can pick your pumpkins directly from the field. Prices vary by size, and checkout is easy at our on-site stand. No pumpkin is over $20!
Fun for the Whole Family: Activities and Entertainment
Our Harvest Festival is designed to be a fun-filled day for the whole family. In addition to the pumpkin patch, enjoy live music from local bands that will set the perfect autumnal mood. Kids will love the games and activities scattered throughout the farm. Don’t miss the popular pumpkin painting station, where both children and adults can create their own fall-themed masterpieces.
Adding a unique touch to the festival, Nevermore Studios will be performing raki pottery firings throughout the day. Witness the fascinating pottery process. This special attraction adds an artistic flair to our event.

Teachers Pick Free
Teacher’s Pick Free Event
Celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year with our special Teachers Pick Free Event this Saturday, August 3rd! From 9 am to 1 pm, enjoy a variety of local vendors, and our farm will remain open until 6 pm for you to explore our beautiful field. Each teacher will receive a complimentary jar with harvest water and 10 vibrant zinnias, and we may also have a few sunflowers available at half price for you to take home and enjoy.

On March 23rd from 12 PM to 3 PM, families are invited to explore our picturesque grounds and search for hidden eggs to get a free easter bag.

Set amid a vibrant canvas of sunflowers under a starlit sky, join us for a night of sensational folk music on October 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The Riverside Folk Band will serenade the crowd in our intimate flower field, creating a dreamy atmosphere further heightened by the soft glow of twinkling lights and crackling bonfires.
Not just a feast for the ears, we also have your appetites covered by Common Ground, who'll be serving mouthwatering food and drinks. Roast s'mores with our special kits over the fires and make delicious memories against the picturesque splendor of a sunflower field backdrop.
Please note that there's a $5 parking fee on-site, however, parking is complimentary if you've pre-purchased your tickets. We have seating available but it's limited, so feel free to bring your comfy folding chairs and blankets.
